The Friends of Harewood have been asked to make funds available for the set up of a new science club, the request for £40 was made by Mrs Wood and the money will be used to purchase much needed equipment. 

The 'Friends' group have a mission statement which includes providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils and this type of request for funding is exactly what the 'Friends' group fundraise for.

All funds raised by the group support the children at the school and the fact is without these additional funds many 'extras' would not be possible.
