Raise money for the school and have your say!
The National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) is recruiting a Pupil and Parent Voice panel. This is a panel of parents, primary school children and secondary school children who they would like to involve in educational research.
The NFER is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity. Their mission is to make a positive difference to learners of all ages, especially the lives of children and young people, by ensuring their work improves the practice and understanding of those who work with and for learners. The Pupil and Parent Voice panel will give pupils and parents a chance to have their say on a wide range of educational issues and influence policy and practice.
Research will predominantly be done in the form of online surveys which typically last no longer than 15 minutes. There is no obligation to complete surveys once you are signed up to the panel. Parents with children in any year at school can sign-up themselves, another parent/carer/guardian and up to four children, all from the same household. Children signed up to the panel must be attending schools in years 3-13.
There will be separate surveys for parents and pupils. For each household that is signed up to the panel,
NFER will donate £2 to the Friends of Harewood which will then be used to benefit your children. For each survey that is completed after sign-up, your household account will receive points (with a redeeming value of £2) which can be donated to the Friends of Harewood, redeemed as Amazon vouchers or donated to a selection of charities.
