Support the school by using eBay for Charity

The Friends of Harewood have set up an ebay account which hopefully will help raise much needed funds to benefit the children at the school. Donations can be made by buying and selling on eBay for Charity, more information about this is below.

eBay Buying
Buy a charity item from the Friends of Harewood
You can support the Friends of Harewood (and other charities) when shopping by buying items marked with the eBay for Charity ribbon. When you see the ribbon next the an item you’ll known that some or all of what you pay will go to the Friends of Harewood. 

 

Donate at checkout
When you pay through eBay Checkout for an item you’ve won, you have the option to add a small donation. By adding a little extra to your purchase, you can support a good cause when you shop on eBay.

You can choose Friends of Harewood or other charities you see in eBay Checkout on the “My Favourite Charities” page within your Donation Account. Please make the Friends of Harewood one of your favourite charities.

Your donation will be collected and delivered by MissionFish, eBay’s partner charity. Note that your donation will appear as a separate transaction, paid to MissionFish, in your PayPal account.


Make a 'Donate Now' donation any time with PayPal
You can make an instant donation via PayPal to any charity registered with eBay for Charity including Friends of Harewood. Just follow these simple steps:
  1. Search for the charity using the “Charities” badge on the right.
  2. Click on the “View” button to visit the charity’s page, and select the Donate Now tab.
  3. Choose the amount you’d like to give, and whether you’d like to hear from the charity.
  4. Log in to your PayPal account, and complete the transaction

MissionFish, eBay’s charity partner, will collect your donation and deliver it to the Friends of Harewood or your chosen charity. You can also ask MissionFish to claim Gift Aid on your donation, boosting its value to the charity by 25% at no cost to you.


eBay Selling
Anyone can give to the Friends of Harewood when they sell on eBay. Sellers can donate between 10% and 100% of each item’s sale price. MissionFish will collect the donation from the seller, claim Gift Aid (if eligible) and pass the money on to the Friends of Harewood. MissionFish takes a small deduction from each donation to cover its processing and administrative costs.
